Pilsner Urquell, Gambrinus and the city of Pilsen – a candidate for the European City of Culture – are organising a celebration of Pilsner beers, gastronomy and music. Every year, the Pilsner Beer Festival is held in Pilsen in honour of the brewing of the first batch of Pilsner Urquell. This famous celebration takes place on several stages of the city center and in the courtyard of the Brewery. Every year, a diverse cultural programme - concerts involving leading Czech bands of all genres, sightseeing tours of the Pilsen Brewery and the Brewery Museum, beer competitions, displays of historical crafts and souvenir stalls - awaits all visitors to the Pilsner Beer Festival. Come and celebrate the anniversary of the birth of Pilsner Urquell, the best pale lager in the world!
